The Georgetown Journal of International Affairs (GJIA) ย is the flagship peer-reviewed publication of the Walsh School of Foreign Service. Staffed by a team of ~100 Georgetown undergraduates and graduates, GJIA publishes original, policy-oriented analyses written by leading scholars and practitioners. Founded in 1998, the Journal has been distributed in 300+ outlets across the United States and in 18 countries, with a global readership that includes think tanks, embassies, and libraries.

Current and enrolled Georgetown University students are eligible to apply from any undergraduate or graduate program. Two hiring cycles occur each Academic year, one in the Fall semester and one in the Spring semester.
