Join Us

Join the flagship publication of Georgetown’s Walsh School of Foreign Service.

Run entirely by Georgetown graduate and undergraduate students, we are a leading academic journal that uses the student lens to engage with emerging trends in international affairs. GJIA publishes original, policy-oriented analyses written by leading scholars and practitioners, solicited and edited by our student editors. Our print and online platforms enjoy a global readership at think tanks, embassies, and universities around the world.

GJIA staffers have worked directly with noted academics and practitioners like the founder of neoliberalism Joseph Nye, former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, former UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and President of Ireland Mary Robinson, Vice President of Taiwan Annette Lu, former Director of the McKinsey Global Institute Diana Farrell, among others.
